Mitchel McLaughlin to Launch Sinn Féin Health Policy in Cork

Mitchel McLaughlin MLA will launch the Sinn Féin Health Policy in Cork tomorrow Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Imperial Hotel. He will be accompanied by the Cork General Election Candidates, Jonathan O Brien, Henry Cremin, Cionnaith Ó Súileabháin and Sandra McLellan.
Amongst the key elements in the proposal are:
- A new universal public health system
- a central focus on prevention, health promotion and primary care (including mental health care)
- right to healthcare in legislation
- A new Ambulance Base and A&E Facility to serve the North Side of the City and the surrounding county area.
